The first major historical art survey of one of America’s most beloved landscapes, TAHOE: A Visual History spans more than 200 years of art and cultural history related to the second-largest freshwater alpine lake in the United States. Five years in the making, the exhibition features more than 400 artworks — including painting, Native basketry, photography, and architecture — dedicated to Lake Tahoe, Donner Pass, and the surrounding Sierra Nevada region.
