Every August, the historic plaza and streets of downtown Santa Fe transform into the world’s largest Native arts market and exhibition. In its 96 years, Santa Fe Indian Market has grown into one of the most highly acclaimed Native American art shows and New Mexico’s biggest draw. Meet some of the featured artists (about 1,000 will be in attendance) and learn about traditional and contemporary Indian arts and culture during a week full of art events that appeal to all walks of life, from young children to avid art collectors.
