Two fun days of "Old West" rodeo events, featuring match bronc riding, steer roping, end-of-season polo, and live music. The Big Horn Equestrian Center provides open space and a no-fence setting in the majestic mountain foothills south of Sheridan, Wyoming. The family-oriented celebration, this year celebrating its 29th anniversary, honors renowned saddlemaker Don King.
Schedule for Sunday, September 3rd: 9 am, gates open and the World Championship Blacksmiths Horseshoeing Contest resumes. 12 noon, Calcutta and introduction of ropers, riders, steer pushers. Then the Don King Days events follow - steer roping, bronc riding. Late afternoon live music entertainment at the clubhouse (to be announced).
