oin Mimi Bonkowske for this two day workshop at Sorrel Sky Gallery in Durango, nestled in the Animas Valley. Mimi’s masterful basket weaving conveys a sense of respect and honor for this ancient art form. Seeing herself as part of the cycle of nature, Mimi uses the gifts that the earth provides to “make beautiful, wonderful and useful things.” Blessed with both skill and art, she feels humbled and moved to pass on her knowledge and skills to others. Her hope is that this cycle will continue and this knowledge will never be lost. This workshop includes supplies and an instruction book. This class is designed for beginners.
