Silent auctions, raffles, rummage sales, free live music, a street dance, art vendors, and food booths enliven the weekend in the historic town of Alpine — all at more than 4,000 feet on a high plateau in the Chihuahuan Desert. Proceeds benefit various scholarship funds, school art programs, and the Alpine Public Library.
