You’ve been skiing in Aspen, but never summered in the area. What’s on your summer agenda?
Colorado has always been one of the country’s top winter destinations, with picturesque views and skiing locations to spare. But summer in Aspen and Snowmass is not something you want to sleep on. Here’s your summer agenda.
Step Back In Time
Book a room at the historic Hotel Jerome, Aspen’s 135-year-old luxury hotel that’s today part of the Auberge Resorts Collection. Learn more about the storied hotel’s heritage on a guided tour led by the Aspen Historical Society.
Ride A Bike
The Roaring Fork Valley is a gold-level ride center, the highest designation awarded by the International Mountain Bicycling Association. The region has more than 300 miles of singletrack — plus hundreds of miles of other trails — to explore on two wheels.

Indulge In Fine Dining
When the Michelin Guide came to Colorado for the first time in summer of 2023, they gave Aspen’s Bosq a coveted one-star rating. Helmed by chef-owner Barclay Dodge, the restaurant emphasizes wild foods foraged from the surrounding wilderness.
Tap Your Artistic Side
Wander among the outdoor sculpture garden at Anderson Ranch Arts Center, where you can also take workshops on everything from oil painting to pottery. Also, check out the free Aspen Art Museum and Aspen’s many downtown art galleries.

Get In Tune With Nature
Enjoy a moment of peace and solitude at Hallam Lake, a 25-acre nature preserve run by the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies. Here, you’ll likely spot golden eagles, waterfowl, and songbirds — and, if you’re lucky, a beaver or two.
