Increase the tinsel factor of your holidays at The Adolphus.
One of Dallas’ storied hotels, The Adolphus, is keeping the holidays festivities going through January. But some special events will be gone sooner — the pies, for example. Get on the pies.
Pop-Up Hot Toddy Bar
Through Christmas, the lobby at The Adolphus will be home for the first time ever to its very own pop-up Hot Toddy bar. Open Thursday to Saturday from 5 – 9 p.m., the bar will serve a selection of warming cocktails including three hot toddy variations (cinnamon, ginger, and lemon) as well as mulled wine, each served in seasonally-inspired mugs. All cocktails are $10.
Holiday Tea Through January
The French Room is extending its annual holiday tea throughout the month of January to start your new year off merry and bright. Holiday tea will be available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. The menu, handcrafted by chef Anthony Dispensa, includes a trio of courses including seasonally-inspired finger sandwiches, scones, pastries, and more all paired with one of Zatki’s loose leaf teas. Tea is available for $59 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 21.651.3615.
Holiday Pies From Otto’s Coffee & Fine Foods
Otto’s Coffee & Fine Foods, the Viennese-inspired coffee shop located in the lobby of The Adolphus, is offering a selection of holiday pies for carry-out, ideal for bringing to parties or as an addition to your own holiday spread. Chocolate silk, apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies are available by the slice for $4. Whole pies are $18 and require a 24-hour pre-order. That can be done by calling 214.651.3625 or by emailing tluter@adolphus.com. The last day for pre-orders is Saturday, December 22, and pies are available in-store through Christmas.
New Years at City Hall Bistro
City Hall Bistro’s chef Jeramie Robison has crafted a celebratory menu to help ring in the new year available for one night only. The menu is a six-course prix-fixe offering dishes such as bass crudo with fresno chile, cilantro, and pomegranate, Israeli couscous risotto with roasted cauliflower, golden raisin, and almond, and pan-seared scallops with cotechino, black lentils, and orange powder. The tasting menu is $62 per person and reservations can be made here or by calling 214.651.3686.
